Not surprised...

Also may have to do with the fact that a European based business will use meat that is quite common in Europe? I'd rather eat horse meat than a lot of things found in food these days. Still quite funny...

Very busy day with a perfect ending of my homemade zucchini chocolate cake drenched in whole milk with a good book.

As the candle burns it leaves behind a little skeleton. Pretty neat.

I can't decide what's worse; the fact that this made me giggle, or the fact that it took me a second to get it...I must be tired.

Really wished I hadn't missed this shirt! The one day I don't check...

Not a Hello Kitty fan but I just love the Moss Kitty!

Movie night: Unstoppable

This movie was great. On the edge of my seat for most of it and a great ending. The fact that it was based on true events just sends chills up my spine!

Mmmmm lunch...

This one wasn't bad actually:
-1 cup frozen berries
-1 frozen banana
-1 1/2 cup coconut water
-1 cup kale
-1 Tbsp lemon juice
-1 Tbsp chia seeds
-1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Love pin-ups

I'm going to use this at some point...

Oh V-day

I didn't go out because it was Valentine's day...I went out because it was opening night for A Good Day to Die Hard! It just so happened to be Valentine's day!

The steak and wine and great company made up for the movie...sorry Bruce, you missed the mark on this one.

So much win!

Oh it is here again...

5:30 is such a stupid time to randomly wake up. I could go back to sleep but I know I'll lay here for a while and then by the time I get back to sleep it will be too late to get anything out of it. So I decided to just get up...great for some early morning gaming!

A Fave Screenshot

My 2 new shirts

Adding to my tshirt album before my new ones arrive!

My new IT Crowd it!

Then this one I received for my birthday in relation to the burlesque dance classes...not sure how to take that one and pretty convinced I shouldn't wear it to class. I mean I'm all in support of every kind of stripper...just figure I shouldn't rub it in people's faces.

My circle of acquaintances is quite large and full of every kind of person you could imagine. I've always had a soft spots for the 'nerds' and 'geeks'. I can respect the introvertedness and bad sense of humor that are found in these individuals. I know that talk may be big through e-mail but if I can get them face to face I'd be in charge. Well one acquaintance in particular showed his face today, he's always been one to dress casual, had no car so he took a cab everywhere, very quiet.

He pulls up driving this gorgeous vintage pickup truck, dressed to a T (shades and all) and strolled into my office. I almost told him how good he looked but figured that was a tad unprofessional...I did compliment him on his truck though!

Ladies you miss out when you side step the nerdy types I'm telling you! Now hopefully he finds someone who really appreciates that side of him and not just the outside...or that truck!

So on my way to work this morning I see this nice white car pass me. The driver's side and passenger front windows are tinted...not just tinted but completely blackened out to the point that you cannot even tell there is an inside to the car. I mean the car was pretty nice and all but this bothers me as I was pulled over last year for having front tinted windows. Now my windows are so lightly tinted the ONLY way you would know is if you were in a position to see the windshield before viewing my car from the side...which that cop must have done. The back windows and those of the wagon portion are also tinted but darker to even lesson the notice-ability of the tinting of the front side windows.

So I get pulled over for that yet this joker is allowed to drive around with his completely black tints! least the cop was hot when I did get pulled over. I just need to find comfort in that I guess.

The new do...

I know my features well and which are my better and which are not. Like my wonderful hour glass figure is always a favorite, my big forehead on the other hand was always something I didn't like. I decided to take the plunge and change my hair style drastically.

So far I'm liking it. Frames the face and I'm glad my hairdresser knows what she is doing because I would have had no clue what to suggest...

I hope everyone knows better!

My first attempt...

So my menus for this week included my first attempt at juicing. 2 red apples, some ginger, a lemon and a bunch of celery.

Doesn't taste too horrible actually! Sure would have loved my breakfast sandwich and large double double instead though. The reminder of costumes for next year's burlesque dance show was a lot of motivation last night...working on the body now to just find the courage to participate.

Board game night...

So I was gifted Castle Panic as this person felt it would be right up my alley. I hate that fucking game...yet I cannot wait to play it again. I need to play again!

We played 3 rounds...and lost all 3 times. 2 of those times being due to boulders that I drew and flung ruthlessly at our castle walls. In all fairness the second round we screwed up on the beginning so we could have had different end results.

The game is basically orcs, trolls and goblins approaching your castle and you use cards to drain their hit points. Each turn more monsters are added to the board and the game ends if the monsters destroy all your towers or if you kill all the monsters.

The final round we played we were actually very close to winning. I pulled a boulder, we had 1 tower left and only one monster still to be pulled. The only way we could lose is if I rolled a 2...well guess what I did. Yup, I rolled a fucking 2.

Very fun game, easy to learn and pretty simple to play yet lots of fun.

So I bought something...

I rarely splurge...but couldn't resist today...I love them!

I feel a little bit country...

Not sure why I love this shirt so much but I do...where's my horse!?

My burlesque class has sure beat up my feet. Our new routine has some walking in it so we've been practicing doing spins and walking. Sounds simple enough but the blisters on the balls of my feet will tell you otherwise. I went in search of a solution as I was not ready to take the leap to wearing the high heal dance shoes that are usually worn for this style of dance.

I found foodUndeez by Capezio...

Sitting on the shelf they looked like tiny pairs of ginch. These little pairs of tighty whities caught my eye and I asked what they were for and realized they are exactly what I was looking for! They are designed specifically to cover the ball of your foot when dancing with little patches on the bottom to assist in turns and gripping. They were perfect!

Of course I had to buy the black and silver ones...and they work phenomenally!

Remind me...

Remind me not to buy nail fashion again. I always wish I were more girly. Whenever I go to the bank I'm always looking at the teller's nails and wishing I could keep mine so nicely manicured. And as my various posts of different nail polish and failed attempts most know I suck at doing my own nails.

I've often seen these nail fashion stickers on the shelves at the drugstore and finally decided to try them out. $10 later I'm at home opening the box. Well...lets just say they are crap. I went through at least 5 stickers, lining them up and pressing them on very carefully. The result was a bubbly sticker lifting on the edges. The actual material is too thick to be smooth or even look remotely like good nail art. So please...remind me never to buy this again!

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.
I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear so much bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good bye.

Busy day...

You know it's a busy day when at 3:00 you realize you didn't have lunch...this is still amazing late afternoon.

- tomatoes
- cucumber
- tons of cilantro
- dried onions
- raspberry balsamic vinegar
- splash of lemon juice

Today scooped with multi-seed crackers...

This week...

This week is winning. Good news is this beer rocks!!

Thank you Amazon...

2 day shipping on a board game you've been wanting to play is priceless!

A coffee brought to me at work out of guilt always tastes better...

Being Brave, Thanks Ze

For some reason I get this odd sense Ze is having a hard time with this episode, at some points I even felt like crying. Oh Ze, I just want to give you a hug! It's amazing how someone who has done something such as he has ends up with this amazing following of people who adore and look up to him. So much that they would seek advise from him on such life changing things. Incredible.

Horrible feeling...

There are a few things that I find the most horrible feelings in the I'm experiencing one right now I will share them with you.
  1. Cutting my toenail too short...cut my big toenail too short before dance class, I can barely walk with a shoe on! Awful feeling.
  2. Paper slicing into your skin. Cardboard is even worse!
  3. My Cayenne pepper pill opening up in my stomach when I just realize I hadn't drank enough water or ate after taking the pill. It burns!
  4. Having my nail bend forward or backward *shudder*.
  5. Having someone pulling up on my nails, one reason manicures are difficult to sit through as they often file the nail that way.
  6. My hair hanging in my eyes
  7. Biting my tongue or lip.
  8. That moment where you have a horrible realization or hear devastating news and you feel like you could throw up.
I could go on and discuss things like listening to someone chew their nails etc. as that makes me want to punch them in the head but I'll stop here. I'm curious to hear others most hated feelings.

Out for a friend's birthday and one of the guests pulls out this game. I don't remember what it was called but it was...interesting. #121 especially.

If I had a girlfriend...

She'd wear!

While wasting some time...

I had 15 minutes to waste and decided to wonder around a store. Look what I found!

I actually have this problem!
