Overkill?

I'm tired of no music while I cook and clean. As Christmas baking is fast approaching I need tunes to start my experimenting for gifts (like beer candied bacon). As I keep putting off buying speakers I cleaned the kitchen and put up the old stereo. Overkill much? Sure sounds amazing compared to iPad speakers!
